The Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) model offers a choice of two Turbo inline 6 engines of differing power. And the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) model -- our all-new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle -- delivers the best of both worlds: enough electric power to get most people through daily commutes and activities, while also being able to handle longer road trips by switching to the gasoline engine.

THE TURBO INLINE 6 MHEV

The new turbo 3.3 L inline 6 engine is available in two variations: the first standard version with 280 hp and up to 332 lb-ft of torque; the second, our most powerful engine to date with 340 hp and up to 369 lb-ft torque, delivering an even more rewarding drive.

OUR MOST POWERFUL ENGINE TO DATE

The CX-90 owes its exhilarating performance to our first ever inline 6 turbo engine. Developed in unison with a front engine, rear-biased i-Activ AWD, performance focused platform. The result, truly nimble and responsive driving dynamics -- all in a 3-row SUV.

ARTISAN RED

To accentuate the elegant forms of the CX-90, we developed a pigment that requires fewer coats while affording greater radiance. Optional Artisan Red enables us to stay true to the incredible sculpting of the body and enable new expressions of colour to constantly come to life.

A POWERFUL PRESENCE

The Kodo Design of CX-90 harmonizes dynamic movement reflections over the entire car with a proud face, a denser body side and a large improvement in rear cabin space -- for striking proportions and a refined, high-performance presence.

HUMANITY IN CRAFTSMANSHIP

Available Maple Wood and brushed metal details alongside the depth defining Kakenui stitching and available Nappa leather-trimmed seats imbue the interior of the CX-90 with a restorative sense of harmony and well-curated comfort.
